This 3,600 SF child care facility operated by the Central Bay Area YMCS is one of 11 centers in the Tri-Valley area, and this project is a prototype project. This interior space planning involved integrating design ideas in layout, finishes, furnishings and equipment. The goal of the client is to create 6 functional program areas within one room, with visual and physical separation so a child can easily identify activities associated with designated areas, and allowing for increased focus time. It was the client's goal to create little innovators in the time spent before and after school. Located in Alamo, California.
